congratulations to our golden girls- misty may-treanor and kerri walsh!

all i have to say is heavy rain, a tough chinese competitor and the ladies pulled out the win! a second straight gold medal for this team! and to think, at the early point of their partnership, both had thought of trading partners! glad you ladies stuck through it -- you're an even stronger team for doing so!

i have to say, that was one of the best matches i have seen. misty was focused, and kerri delivered. you really just can't say enough about this dynamic duo. and the fact that they are now going to take a timeout from volleyball, to start a new generation dream team (as misty put it), is even more admirable. they have succeeded in their careers, now they want to start a life-long career called motherhood. good luck ladies!
